This creamy, savory pumpkin dip with tahini comes together in less than 10 minutes. No food processor required! Enjoy this spread as you would a traditional hummus. Pair with vegetables, pita bread, or pita chips for a wholesome afternoon snack. Or, bring this dip to your seasonal parties and potlucks.
How To Make This Recipe
Get ready to experience a creamy and perfectly spiced spread that comes together in less than 10 minutes. Our dip starts with pumpkin puree, which is mixed with tahini, olive oil, non-dairy yogurt, garlic, cinnamon and salt. Then, we garnish it with a drizzle of sweet maple syrup and a smattering of toasted sesame seeds. We’re swooning over this dish!
Because we’re not making a traditional hummus with chickpeas, we won’t need to haul out out food processor for this recipe. Although this dish doesn’t include chickpeas, it’s still savory–more like hummus than pumpkin pie or pumpkin fluff.
With the help of canned pumpkin, this recipe comes together quickly. We just add all of our ingredients, with the exception of our garnishes, to large mixing bowl. Using our spatula, we simply mix everything together until uniform and well combined.
And, we’re done. That’s it! Once mixed, we transfer the our dip to our serving bowl. Then, we garnish with a welcome drizzle of maple syrup and our sesame seeds. To keep this dish sugar free, just skip the maple syrup. It’s still delish!
While most pumpkin dips go well with graham crackers, we recommend enjoying this savory spread with fresh pita, pita chips, or sliced bell pepper.
Now, grab a slice of pita bread and enjoy that savory pumpkin dip. Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
